ALBANY – Governor Andrew Cuomo, Tuesday, revealed startling news that the name of New York’s chief judge was found in the car where Roy Den Hollander was found dead in the Town of Rockland on Monday.

He is believed to have shot and killed New Jersey federal court judge Esther Salas’ son and wounded her husband in their New Brunswick, New Jersey home.

Now, Cuomo said evidence was found of another judge’s personal information.

Chief Justice Janet DiFiore

“In the car that the body was found they also found a picture of our chief judge, Janet DiFiore – her name and address – so I have directed the State Police to provide security for our chief judge,” he said.

The governor called that “very troubling.”

DiFiore is a former Westchester County District Attorney, who Cuomo nominated to the New York Court of Appeals.
