WHITE PLAINS – A Yonkers man has been sentenced to prison for repeatedly sexually assaulted a six-year-old child over the course of two years.
Isaiah Rodriguez, 23, was sentenced on Tuesday to 8 ½ years in state prison with 15 years of post-release supervision. He pled guilty in January to course of sexual conduct against a child as a violent.
Rodriguez subjected the victim to repeated sexual assaults on several occasions from October 2015 to December 2018 when she was between four and six years old.
The child made a disclosure of abuse to her mother who took her to the hospital. Yonkers Police took the child to the hospital where a specially trained staff member forensically interviewed the child.
