FORT MONTGOMERY – The Orange County Hazmat team was called out to the Holiday Inn on Route 9W in Fort Montgomery Sunday evening for a report of a woman who had committed suicide there, possibly by consuming a concoction of chemicals.
Orange County Emergency Services Commissioner Brendan Casey said on Monday while it is not specifically known at this time what the woman consumed, found in the room were substances including Epson salts, Nyquil, Drano, alcohol and pills.
An autopsy will seek to determine the cause of death.
The woman’s identity has not been released.
