Livingston Manor man arrested on drug and weapon charges

LIVINGSTON MANOR – Armed with a search warrant, State Police raided a residence on Brown Street in Livingston Manor and seized drugs and a stolen gun.

Anthony Janik, 31, was charged with felonies of criminal possession of a controlled substance and criminal possession of stolen property and a misdemeanor of criminal use of drug paraphernalia.

Police seized 41.5 grams of heroin, Diazapam, ecstasy, Lyrica, glassine envelopes and a stolen .22 caliber rifle.

Janik was arraigned before Sullivan County Court Judge James Farrell and released on his own recognizance pending a future court appearance.

Troopers were assisted by Sullivan County Acting District Attorney Meagan Galligan’s office.
