DENNING – A Denning man was committed to the Sullivan County Jail in lieu of $20,000 cash bail or $15,000 bond following his arrest on sex-related crimes involving an underage victim.

The allegations against Archie Ackerley, 40, stem from an investigation by State Police at the Kingston barracks and the Sullivan County District Attorney’s Office. It is alleged that over the course of several months, Ackerley sent explicit photos of himself to a minor and asked the victim for nude photos, and engaged in sexual touching of the victim and offered the victim cash for sex.
