LIBERTY – State Police have arrested a 31-year-old Liberty man on felony charges of sexual abuse and burglary and a misdemeanor of criminal obstruction of breathing.
Investigation revealed Cody Yaun allegedly broke into the apartment of a woman attempted to strangle and sexually assault her.
The victim was able to free herself after pulling away and scratching Yaun in the face.
He fled the residence and was located a short time later by troopers as he attempted to hide in a wooded area and taken into custody.
He was arraigned and remanded to Sullivan County Jail.
