ELLENVILLE – An Ellenville man was arrested following an alleged physical altercation between a landlord and tenant in the village.
Ulster County Sheriff’s deputies were called to an address in the Town of Wawarsing where Victor Escalera-Cruz, 24, allegedly fought with the victim while in the presence of a two-year-old child.
He was charged with misdemeanors of endangering the welfare of a child and criminal contempt as well as a violation of harassment.
Escalera-Cruz was issued an appearance ticket returnable to Wawarsing Town Court.
Deputies were assisted on the scene by State Police.
