State Police continue investigation into 2003 Orange County homicide

WALLKILL – It has been 17 years since SUNY Orange student Megan McDonald was found murdered in the Town of Wallkill and State Police continue to look for her killer.

McDonald’s body was found on March 15, 2003 in a field off Bowser Road in Wallkill. Her 1991 white Mercury Sable was later recovered in the Kensington Manor parking lot in Wallkill.

The cause of death was determined to be blunt force trauma.

At the time of her death, McDonald worked at the Galleria mall in Wallkill and attended SUNY Orange.
