WOODBURY – Two people were arrested on drug charges late Thursday night after their car was stopped on Route 17 in the Town of Woodbury for a vehicle and traffic violation.
The driver, Joshua Gilmore, 39, of Middletown did not have a driver’s license, police said. His passenger, Nichole Ellis, 35, of the Town of Wallkill, and he were found in possession of drug pipes containing crack cocaine residue, about 15 grams of crack cocaine, a plastic baggie containing heroin, drug paraphernalia and a digital scale.
Gilmore and Ellis were both charged with felony and misdemeanor counts of drug possession and criminal use of drug paraphernalia.
Both were issued appearance tickets to Woodbury Town Court.
