FISHKILL – New York State Police along with officers from the town and village police departments responded to a report of an armed robbery shortly after 8 p.m. Saturday night.
Dutchess County 911 received a call from the Dunkin Donuts/Shell gas station at 747 Route 9 near Church Street saying that two black men entered the store and displayed a handgun. The caller also reported that the store’s manager had been “assaulted” in the face. The donut shop/gas station is owned by Gasland Petroleum of Kingston.
At the time of the original dispatch, the 911 center was unable to determine if the suspects were still on the premises. Police are currently investigating. Additional information will be provided when it becomes available.
