Troopers seek public’s help in ID’ing man with counterfeit cash

SOMERS – State Police are investigating fraudulent activity at the Stop and Shop store at 80 US Rt. 6 in Baldwin Place on January 23.

The incident occurred around 4:32 p.m.

Investigators found he entered the store and produced a counterfeit $100 bill.

Anyone with information about the incident or identity of the individual is asked to call Investigator Cassels-Vetter at State Police in Somers at 914-769-2600.
