New Rochelle man arraigned on drug, weapons charges

WHITE PLAINS – A New Rochelle man is facing felony charges of criminal possession of a controlled substance and criminal possession of a weapon following his arrest on January 24.

James Bachman, 69, was arrested following an investigation into sales of narcotics in the area.

A warrant search was conducted on a New Rochelle location where police found cocaine and materials to produce it. They also seized five firearms including three revolvers and two semi-automatic pistols along with ammunition for all of the weapons.

Bachman was remanded to the Westchester County Jail pending future court action.
