EAST FISHKILL –The West Campus of the former IBM East Fishkill site could see a rebirth begin later this year.
East Fishkill Town Supervisor Nicholas D’Alessandro said the 160-plus acre site includes an incomplete sports dome. “They had some financial problems but I have been approached by several other entities looking to take that over and finish that project, so I am very hopeful that will happen this year,” he said. “On the rest of that site, there are a couple of big, big companies looking to do high-tech warehouse and other types of businesses there, which the town is working with them right now to help them to see what they need for water and infrastructure and sewer needs there.”
The iPark on the East Campus of the site is concentrating on industrial and commercial development and doing well, said D’Alessandro.
