FOUND — NYPD looking for abducted Dutchess County teen

UPDATE – POLICE NOW REPORT KAROL SANCHEZ HAS BEEN FOUND SAFE AND SOUND IN THE BRONX.

NEW YORK – An Amber Alert has been issued for a 16-year-old Dutchess County girl who was abducted late Monday night while walking with her mother.

At around 11:20 p.m. Karol Sanchez and her mother were walking along Eagle Avenue in the vicinity of East 156 Street when they were approached by a beige colored four-door sedan that stopped in front of 745 Eagle Avenue.

Two unknown men got out, grabbed the teen and dragged her into the vehicle while pushing her 36-year-old mother to the ground.

The car, which was occupied by two other men, fled eastbound on East 156 Street.

The mother was not injured and refused medical attention.

It could not be immediately known where in Dutchess County Sanchez lives.

She is described as about five feet, five inches tall, 150 pounds, with short black hair, brown eyes, and was last seen wearing a short dark blue jacket, white sweater, blue jeans and black sneakers.

Police are looking for four men in their 20s with dark complexions and wearing dark clothing.
