SALISBURY MILLS – Fire Friday evening caused considerable damage to a home at 29 Lakeside Drive in Beaver Dam Lake.
One person sustained burns and was airlifted to a hospital.
Several fire departments responded to the two-alarm blaze as flames shot through the roof.
Firefighters from Washingtonville, Chester and Vails Gate assisted in quelling the flames while New Windsor Police and EMS assisted at the scene.
The cause of the blaze was not immediately known.
