Three suspects sought in Kingston murder

KINGSTON – Police are looking for three black men in connection with the murder of Myron Moye, Jr., whose body was discovered shortly after 2 a.m. on November 1. A woman had called Kingston City Police to report the death in a residence at 38 West O’Reilly Street.

Witnesses described three African-American men, between 20 and 30 years old, wearing dark clothing and sneakers leaving the residence.

The suspects are furthered described as follows:

#1 – 5’8”-6’0” tall, thin build, medium complexion

#2 – 5’5”-5’8”, heavier build possibly 250 lbs, light skinned

#3 – Shorter than other two with a thin build

Police are asking the public in the area of West O’Reilly Street, Broadway and Mary’s Avenue to check their security cameras for any unusual or suspicious persons/vehicles in that area on November 1 between 1:30 a.m. and 2:30 a.m.

Kingston Police are also continuing to investigate the October 24 murder of Daniel Thomas.

Kingston Police Department is being assisted by the Ulster County District Attorney’s Office, New York State Police Bureau of Criminal Investigations and Major Crimes Unit. The Ulster County Sheriff’s Office and Town of Ulster Police Department assisted the day of the crime.
