MONTGOMERY – Tethered at Orange County Airport in Montgomery since Sunday is the Goodyear Blimp, actually a zeppelin, before it leaves this evening for the New York Jets v. Cleveland Browns football game.

The 245-foot-long aircraft “parks” at Orange County Airport whenever it has an appearance in the region.

It will be back tonight after the game and depart for Massachusetts Tuesday morning.

Airport Manager Ed Magryta said the zeppelin pays standard rates for “parking” at the Montgomery airfield and also purchase fuel for its engines.
