HARRIS – A man escaped serious injury when he swerved to avoid a head-on crash around a curve on Bushville Road in Harris on Thursday afternoon.
The man’s minivan wound up on its side in Middle Mongaup River.
First responders rescued the man, who was able to climb out of the vehicle.
The accident, near Route 17 and Catskill Regional Medical is the same spot where a male camp counselor was killed in a head-on crash last summer.
