TOWN OF NEWBURGH – Bones were recovered along the Hudson River under the Newburgh-Beacon Bridge on Friday and they are being examined by the Orange County Medical Examiner.

“If they are determined to be human, we will be conducting an investigation,” said Newburgh Town Police Lt. James Nenni. If they are determined to be animal, the investigation will be closed.

Nenni said they should have some answers in the week ahead.
