GOSHEN – The Orange County Legislature is the latest municipal entity to provide live webcasts of their meetings. The first session to go live was on Thursday afternoon.

Chairman Stephen Brescia quipped at the conclusion of the meeting that the lawmakers were on their “best behavior,” presumably because the meeting was webcast.

Orange County now joins other counties in the region – Dutchess, Sullivan, Ulster and Westchester – that have been webcasting their monthly meetings live on the Internet. Dutchess and Westchester also provide live webcasts of their committee meetings.
