ALBANY – A Columbia County man who violated terms of his probation and was sent to prison has lost his appeal of the ruling.

On March 15, 2018, Columbia County Court revoked the probation sentence of Michael Mastro and sentenced him to one to four years in state prison.

In August 2014, Mastro had pled guilty to criminal mischief and driving while ability impaired and was sentenced to six months in the local jail and five years of probation. In January 2018, he was charged with violating three terms and conditions of his probation and was sentenced to prison.

He appealed but the Appellate Division of State Supreme Court affirmed the lower court ruling.
