KIRYAS JOEL – A seven-year-old girl was killed Tuesday afternoon when a cabinet fell on her while she attended an all-girls school in the Village of Kiryas Joel, village public safety officials said.
The accident occurred around 2:30 p.m. at the Bais Rochel School at 5 Israel Zupnik Drive.
Village EMS personnel responded at the scene and the child was rushed to Good Samaritan Hospital in Suffern where she was pronounced dead.
State Police are investigating the accident.
