WASHINGTON – Congressman Sean Patrick Maloney (D, NY-18), a member of the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence, hopes Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s testimony today (Wednesday) will give “the American public a better understanding of both the sweeping nature of the Russian interference in the 2016 election, and the willingness of the Trump team to accept Russia’s help and then try to cover their tracks.”

In perhaps his strongest language to date, Maloney said, “The President and his advisors operate in the narrow, ignominious space between unethical and criminal conduct – and it’s time our country hears about this behavior directly from the special counsel himself.”

Mueller is expected to spend several hours, today, answering questions about his report concerning Russian interference in the last presidential election.
