KINGSTON – Patrick Ryan is now Ulster County executive. He was sworn in by State Comptroller Thomas DiNapoli in a Kingston ceremony on Friday.
The Democrat Ryan took the oath of office as his wife, Rebecca, held the Bible.

Dutchess County Executive Marcus Molinaro, a Republican, attended to congratulate his new counterpart across the Hudson River.
