Orange County residents sentenced in Pike County Court

MILFORD PA – Four Orange County residents were sentenced on unrelated charges in Pike County Court of Common Pleas.

Jenna Kalin, 23, of Middletown, was sentenced to 18 months of probation and fined $900 for two counts of simple assault and resisting arrest. State Police responded to a residence in Dingman Township on November 19, 2018 to assist EMS members who were attending to Kain who had lost consciousness. She struck the troopers who were trying to assist her. While attempting to restrain Kain, and place her under arrest, she resisted.

Kyle Conklin, 26, of Port Jervis, was sentenced to nine months to 18 months in the Pike County Jail and fined $900 for two counts of criminal retail theft. On November 12, 2018, he took a chainsaw valued at $519 from a business in Westfall Township without paying for it. On December 4, 2018, he took another chainsaw valued at $455 from the same store without paying for it.

Michael Mongrella, 40, of Port Jervis, was sentenced to six months of probation and fined $200 for retail theft. He took a 50-inch television valued at $525 from a retail store in Westfall Township on November 17, 2018 without paying for it.

Jennifer Gildeleon, 43, of Middletown, was sentenced to one year of probation and fined $500 for theft by deception. She took merchandize valued at $412 to customer service at a retail store in Westfall Township on November 18, 2018 and accepted a gift card for the same amount knowing the merchandise was stolen.
