Washingtonville charge man with rape

WASHINGTONVILLE – A 35-year-old man was arrested by Washingtonville Village Police on a charge of first-degree rape. The crime was allegedly committed in Suffolk County.

Police did not release his identity on their Facebook page, but said he was charged with rape, unlawful imprisonment, sexual misconduct and endangering the welfare of a child. He was arrest on May 15 and sent to the Orange County Jail.
