NEW WINDSOR – Fasthog is not just their website address but defines the Moroney family’s racing history that has been going on now for three generations.

Today, Moroney’s sponsors racer Andy Morano. Jim Moroney was big into dirt bikes and loved stock bikes and racing. Jim got his son, Pat, into racing, and from 1974-84, Pat raced professionally, racking up five national numbers and ranking in the top 10 for several years.

Moroney’s Harley-Davidson in New Windsor recently held their Fasthog.com Racing Daze. It was a chance for those who have followed the Moroney’s to get an up-close glimpse of the race bikes and newcomers to experience the history for the first time. All the race bikes were on display under a tent with all the racing uniforms. Quite the display!

There was plenty for the visitor to the dealership on May 18. Round Table Brewery was serving up cold brew and there was a delicious buffet of pulled pork, beans, and potato salad from Quaker Creek Store.

Stationed right at the front door was Billy “the Biker” Bennett who was selling and signing his new book, “Cheatin the Reaper.” You just have to read about Billy’s amazing life journey. You can purchase Billy’s book on Amazon.

The Moroney’s have such a great history and the dealership is popular in the area. It was a great event for everyone in attendance.

Test Ride Days at O’Toole’s HD is well attended

The Harley-Davidson full fleet demo truck pulled into O’Toole’s Harley-Davidson on Sullivan Street in Wurtsboro and gave bike enthusiasts a chance to test drive the new 2024 models on a 17-mile route. The event was all part of the HD Test Ride Days National Event.

The dealership was packed! Music by the amazing band, Iron Cobra, and @moonflower entertained visitors while appetites were satisfied with food served up by Bearded Boys BBQ and That’s My Dog. Bikers were consistently pulling out on the new 2024 models testing all the features.

Thank goodness the rain decided to take a break. Turned out to be a perfect day for riding. Harley-Davidson is coming out with some stylish rides for 2024. To see them all pay a visit to O’Toole’s or visit otooleshd.com.
