BEACON – City Police in Beacon Friday said the victim of a late-night shooting on Thursday was a 20-year-old man who sustained a non-life-threatening wound.
The man, whose name was not released, was transported to an area hospital by ambulance where he was treated and later released.
A crime scene was located on South Davies Terrace.
The incident remains under investigation and police ask anyone who may have witnessed it or has information about it to call the Detective Division at 845-831-4111.
