HURLEY- The Town of Hurley’s annual Memorial Day Parade will be held Monday, May 27, 2024.
The parade will step off at 10 a.m. from the THikit print shop at 185 Zandhoek Road (formerly St. John’s Mission), proceed north on Zandhoek Road, turn right at the end of the Hurley Cemetery property, cross Hurley Avenue, travel the length of Main Street, cross Wynkoop Road, turn left on Wamsley Place and end in front of the Town Hall, where there will be a ceremony, food and beverages.
The parade route is about 1.5 miles. The route map can be viewed HERE.
An application form for people and groups wanting to march in the parade can be found HERE.
The form should be printed out, filled in and mailed to Memorial Day Parade 2024, Town Supervisor’s Office, Town Hall, P.O. Box 569, Hurley, NY 12443; or it can be scanned and emailed to Samara Genee at supervisorsec@townofhurley.
The staging area at the THikit print shop will open at 9 a.m. Participants should arrive no later than 9:15 a.m., entering from Zandhoek Road and parking in the grassy area on the right.
