TUXEDO – A Tractor-trailer overturned and caught fire shortly after midnight on Friday playing havoc with southbound traffic on the Thruway in Tuxedo.
At around 8 a.m., cleanup crews were still on the scene removing the cargo and cleaning up debris.
The driver was able to get out of the truck on his own power.
As traffic was routed around the accident scene, large tow trucks and an excavating machine were on scene to clean up the roadway and the overturned trailer.
There were no reports of any injuries.
