Robert Rifino
July 6, 1967 – August 13, 2024
Robert Rifino, age 57, passed away on August 13, 2024, at Westchester Medical Center. He was born on July 6, 1967, in Staten Island, NY to the late Michael and Ann (Ruggiero) Rifino. Robert met his beloved wife Nancy (Patterson) Rifino in 1991, and after dating for 3 months, he proposed. He knew very soon after meeting her that she was the one he wanted to spend his life with. After a 3-month engagement, they were married on January 25, 1992, and spent 32 happily married years together.
Robert worked as an Oil Burner Technician at Stormville Oil – a division of Package Pavement Company, Inc.
Robert was the life of the party, always smiling, and always upbeat. He would do anything for the people he loved. He loved to go camping at Lake Taghkanic every year and did so ever since he was a child. His all-time favorite food was hot dogs, and he absolutely loved his coffee.
In addition to his beloved wife Nancy, survivors include his 2 children: Lauren and Robert Rifino as well as his “bonus daughter” Sarah Tavera; his siblings: Blaise Rifino and his wife Diane, Anna Levy, Debbie Sokalski and her husband Wes, and Rich Rifino; his sister-in-law Linda Rifino, and his brother-in-law Richard Patterson and his wife Roxanne; as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to his parents Michael and Ann Rifino, Robert was predeceased by his brother Mike Rifino, and his sister-in-law Kim Rifino.
A Memorial Funeral Service will be held on Saturday August 24, 2024, at 11am at Our Savior Lutheran Church 1400 Route 52 Fishkill, NY 12524.
