Robert A. Venditti, 56, of Latham, NY passed away suddenly on May 24, 2023. Robert was born June 12, 1966, in Poughkeepsie, NY to his parents Maria and Oscar Venditti.
Robert was predeceased by his father Oscar Venditti, and he is survived by his mother Maria Venditti, his loving wife of 33 years Jennifer Venditti, his daughters Nicole, Gabrielle and Danielle Venditti, his son Robert Venditti and his 3 grandchildren Brianna Venditti, Joshua Prusky and Natalya Greer. Robert is also survived by his loving sister Anna Maria Venditti and his two nieces Tina and Leanne Casey and Aunts, Uncles, and cousins.
Robert worked as a computer programmer for more than a decade and had previously worked for KeyBank for many years. He also worked as an Umpire for Girls Softball along with being a Softball Coach. Robert was also the President of Latham Lassies Softball for several years and ran a snowplowing business with his son for a few years.
Robert was a loving and loyal father and grandfather to his 4 children and 3 grandchildren. In his free time, he enjoyed playing basketball with his friends, joining bowling leagues and was an avid sports enthusiast whose favorite team was the Cleveland Browns.
Calling hours are Thursday, June 1st, from 4-8 PM at the Michael Torsone Memorial Funeral Home, Inc. 218 Mill St. Poughkeepsie, NY 12601. Wheelchair accessible entrance is located in the rear of funeral home on Vassar St. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated on Friday, June 2nd, 10:00 AM at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 11 Mount Carmel Place, Poughkeepsie, NY 12601. Entombment will follow at St. Peter’ Cemetery Mausoleum in Poughkeepsie.
