Quinton Ruffin, 65, of Kingston died Saturday February 25, 2023 at Taconic Rehabilitation & Nursing at Ulster in Highland. Born January 2, 1958 in Brooklyn, he is the son of the late Elvert and Mary Ruffin.
Quinton worked in Brooklyn before moving to the Kingston area in 2000. While in Kingston, he worked for Golden Hill and Walmart. He loved music, enjoyed spending time with people, having a good time and enjoying life.
Surviving is his longtime companion Lisa Simmons. Children Asia Ruffin, Tiara Ruffin, Jojo Ruffin, Yvette Carson, Shanika Butler. Grandchildren, siblings Elveda Brickhouse, Kenneth Ruffin, Linwood Ruffin as well as a host of nieces and nephews also survive.
He was predeceased by a brother Marvin Ruffin and a sister Trina Ruffin.
In following with Mr. Ruffin’s wishes, there will be no services.
