Friends will be received at the funeral home on Saturday February 18th from 1 PM until 3 PM. A funeral service will be taking place at 3 PM.
Mary Winters, 76, of Ruby died Tuesday February 14, 2023 at home surrounded by her loving family. Born May 20, 1946 in Catskill, she is the daughter of the late Donald and Norma Armstrong.
Mary graduated from Cairo Central School District and attended Ulster County Community College. She was a bus driver for Ethan Allen and enjoyed the company of the children on her bus routes. In her earlier years, she was a Cub Scout leader who enjoyed camping. She traveled across the United States several times and loved going on cruises to many different destinations. She enjoyed time spent with at family picnics.
Surviving are her two sons Robert Winters and his wife Melissa, and Kenneth Winters and his wife Jean. Her partner for twenty-five years, Ron Cole. Sisters Elaine Turner and Marie Holland and her husband Kevin. A brother Donald Armstrong and a brother-in-law Frank Vedder. Several grandchildren, nieces and nephews also survive.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Edward Winters and a sister Doris Vedder.
