Margaret Carol “Nan” Benoist, an Administrative Assistant for Concord at Westbrook, passed away at her home on Sunday June 4, 2023. The daughter of the late Charles and Eva Mae White Miller, she was born on November 13, 1937, in Keansville, NC. She was 85 years old.
She was the widow of the late Gerard Michael Benoist.
Nan loved cooking. entertaining, and puzzles. She also loved to sew and sing.
Survivors are her daughter, Patty Wild-DeMattei and her husband, Jim, of Walden; brother, Benjamin Miller of SC; grandchildren: Tammy Wild, Otto Bradatsch, Dennis Williams, Jude Wild, Lawrence Carlini and Camelia Wild; great grandchildren Emily and Faith.
She was predeceased by her children, Linda, Frankie and Tom, as well as her brother, Charles Miller, and sisters, Jessie Bradford and Ruth Jones.
A visitation will be held from 4-7 pm on Friday, June 16th at the Gridley-Horan Funeral Home, 39 Orchard St., Walden, NY. Cremation was in the Cedar Hill Crematory, Newburgh, NY.
