Joseph F. Krummack
1943 – 2024

 

Joseph F. Krummack passed peacefully surrounded by family on August 30, 2024, at Bon Secours Community Hospital.  He was 80.

The son of the late John L. Krummack and Genevieve Krummack (Tomandl), he was born on October 12, 1943, in Saginaw MI.

Joseph served in the US Navy during Vietnam (1963-1966) on the USS Intrepid. He was a volunteer firefighter and lifetime member of the Piermont, NY Fire Department. He served as a PAL Director for many years and a baseball coach for the village of Piermont. He dedicated his life to volunteer work and being a mentor for the youth in the village. He retired from working at Chromalloy in Orangeburg, NY for over 30 years and resided on a peaceful lake in Milford, PA with his wife.

In addition to his parents Joseph was predeceased by his wife Domenica V. Krummack (Rees), Son Christopher M. Krummack and Brother John L. Krummack.

He leaves behind Son Joseph F. Krummack III (Susan), Daughter Susan Krummack-Rivera, Son in law Alex Rivera, Daughter in Law Doreen Krummack (Christopher), Sisters Patricia Owens, Kathryn Southworth, Mary Hardy, Sister in Laws Virginia Tavarone (Gregory) and Maureen Mounier (Samuel).  Cherished Grandfather of Jodee (Nicholas), Tyler (Jackie), Ashton (Preston), Rebecca, Austin, Patrick (Gianna), Paige, Gabriella and Great Grandfather to Eliana.  He was a very beloved uncle to many nieces and nephews.
