Daniel Eric Terhune
Daniel Eric Terhune, 29, of Tivoli, NY, passed away at home on Tuesday, June 20, 2023.
Born on July 15, 1993, in Rhinebeck, NY, he was the son of Douglas Terhune of New Milford, CT and Dawn Simmons of Kingston, NY.
In recent years, Dan worked as a welder at North Park Metalworks Inc. in Mt. Marion, NY. He was passionate about his work. Being able to create something brought him so much joy. In addition to his desire to make something whole, he enjoyed snowboarding and motorcycles. He was always eager to learn and grow in his work and in his life.
He will be remembered for his good sense of humor and his kind soul.
Dan is survived by his parents, Douglas Terhune and his partner Julie Beardsley-Blodgett, and Dawn Simmons and her husband Mark Marshall; his brothers, Nicholas Terhune of Poughkeepsie, NY; and Thomas Terhune of Austin, TX; his maternal grandparents, Richard and Joann Fosby; many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations may be made to the family, for Moving Mountains Recovery, in Daniel’s memory.
Friends may call at Burnett & White Funeral Homes, Red Hook on Monday, June 26, 2023, from 4 to 7PM.
Funeral Services will begin at 11AM on Tuesday, 11AM at Burnett & White Funeral Homes. Burial will immediately follow at Rhinebeck Cemetery, Rhinebeck, NY.
