Arlene E. Ferguson of Swan Lake, NY a retired waitress at Howard Johnson and a lifelong area resident, died Saturday, August 10, 2024, at her home. She was 84.
The daughter of the late Gilbert and Ada Mae Banks Smith, she was born January 14, 1940, in Deposit, NY.
Arlene was a very faithful woman; she enjoyed watching soap operas and loved spending time with her family.
Survivors include two daughters, Robin Green and her husband John of Milford, PA and Gaylean Millsaps and her husband Robert of Athens, TN; one son, Harry Hinkley of Swan Lake, NY; one sister, Esther Glassford; one brother, Douglas Knutt; ten grandchildren; several great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. She was predeceased by one daughter Donna Packard.
Graveside services and burial will be Friday, August 16, 2024, at 2 PM in the Laurel Hill Cemetery, White Sulphur Springs, NY. The Rev. Ben Willis will officiate.
