Angel Luis Tirado, Sr., of the Town of Newburgh, entered into rest on Friday,
February 3, 2023. He was 81.
Son of the late Vicente Tirado and Bartola Perez, he was born on February 6,
1941, in Rincon, Puerto Rico. Coming from the Bronx, Angel was a retired
Administrator with NYC Health and Hospital Corp, New York, NY.
The family was all-important to Angel; he enjoyed his tomato garden and was
very particular about his lawn. He was a selfless, giving, and loving father. He
embraced everyone with kindness. To the family, he was Pops, Pa, Papi, and
Grandpa. He had a heart of Gold. His greatest Love was his wife of 64 years.
Survivors include his wife, Ana Hilda Roldan-Tirado; two sons: Orlando Tirado
of Manchester, NH; Heriberto (Yvonne) Tirado of the Town of Newburgh, two
daughters: Madeline Tirado (Cidro) of Poughkeepsie, NY, and Jennifer (Rodly)
Oragene of West Palm Beach, FL; three sisters: Esther Torres of Bronx, NY,
Mercedes Tirado of Bronx, NY and Luz Maria Moreno of Bayamon, PR. He has
nineteen grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren, including many nieces and
nephews; loving niece Delma Luciano of the Town of Newburgh, and
Goddaughter Jasmin Lazala of Bridgeport, CT.
In addition to his parents, Angel was predeceased by a son, Angel Luis Tirado, Jr.,
and five brothers, Carlos Tirado, Luis Alberto Tirado, Efrain Moreno, Agustavo
Moreno, and Adam Moreno.
Visitation for family and friends will be Thursday, February 9, 2023, from 5:00
pm to 8:00 pm at White, Venuto, and Morrill Funeral and Cremation Service, 188
N. Plank Road, Newburgh NY 12550
A Funeral Service will be held Friday, February 10, 2023, at 10:00, at the Funeral
Home. Burial will follow at St. Raymonds Cemetery, Bronx, NY.
