DEERPARK – Search and rescue teams have located the body of a missing NYC woman whose car was found abandoned along Hawk’s Nest. The vehicle was located Thursday at noontime and search and rescue efforts lasted until just before 4:00 p.m. Friday when the woman’s body was located.
Rescuers worked to load the woman onto a specialized stretcher and the rope rescue team lowered the victim to a rescue boat waiting below on the Delaware River.
The woman’s body according to officials, was turned over to the Orange County Medical Examiner’s Office.
