GOSHEN – A Monticello man pled guilty in Orange County Court on Tuesday to course of sexual conduct against a child for allegedly engaging in two or more acts of sexual conduct against a child who was under the age of 13.
The crimes to which Anthony Vallegas, 48, pled guilty, occurred between June 2010 and April 2011.
At sentencing in November, he faces nine years in state prison and 10 years of post-release supervision.
State Police conducted the investigation that led to the arrest.
“Children are our most innocent and vulnerable victims,” said District Attorney David Hoovler. “Adults who choose to violate children for their own sexual gratification deserve lengthy prison sentences.”
