Dover duo busted with drugs

DOVER – State Police from the Dover barracks have arrested two people on drug-related charges following a traffic stop at Route 22 and North Nellie Hill Road in Dover last Saturday, October 14.

Troopers charged Robert Beebe, 47, of Dover with driving while under the influence of drugs and Shannan Mead, 33, of Dover, was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell as a felony.

Police pulled over their 2006 Volkswagen Jette at about 2:20 in the afternoon and found Beebe driving under the influence and Mean with over 38 grams of crack cocaine.

Beebe was issued a traffic ticket and Mead was arraigned and released on her own recognizance pending a future court appearance.
