WOODBURY- Police in tthe Town of Woodbury investigated an overnight crash that left several people badly injured.
A minivan collided with another vehicle in a head-on crash that occurred on Route 6 around 8:30 p.m. on Saturday just east of the Route 32 exit.
Police on the scene confirmed that two vehicles crashed head-on in heavy rain on the well-traveled road.
According to police, two of the victims were rushed to Garnet Health Medical Center in the Town of Wallkill in critical condition. The condition of the other victims is not yet known.
Woodbury Police were assisted by state police, who closed off the roadway until after midnight to conduct an accident investigation.
