TOWN OF CRAWFORD – State Police are investigating a fatal two-vehicle crash in the area of 2126 Route 17K in the Town of Crawford. It happened just before 11 a.m. on Saturday.
Preliminary investigation found that a mail truck swerved to avoid hitting a deer and struck another vehicle.
The driver of that car was killed in the crash, according to police.
Route 17K was closed between Youngblood Road and Union School Road during the investigation.
