MOUNTAINVILLE- The Orange County Land Trust will host its “Celebration for Conservation” at the Warwick Valley Winery & Distillery on Thursday, August 10, 2023, from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
This casual event will take place on the winery’s outdoor patio and features a crowd-pleasing farm-to-table buffet, a full lineup of wines and hard ciders, live music by Dave Reiss, and more.
Dr. Bill Schuster, past executive director of Black Rock Forest, will also be presented with the 2023 Louis Mills Conservation Award at the event for his countless contributions and dedication to scientific research, environmental education, and conservation in Black Rock Forest and beyond.
Individual tickets are $130 and include dinner, dessert, and drinks. To purchase tickets or to become an event sponsor, please visit oclt.org. All proceeds from the event support OCLT’s mission of conserving Orange County’s wilderness, watersheds, and working farms. The winery’s covered tent space will be utilized in the event of rain.
