CITY OF HUDSON – A fight between two members of the same family late Sunday afternoon resulted in one being stabbed in the chest, City of Hudson Police said.
The victim of what city police said was an ongoing issue, was transported by Greenport Rescue Squad to Albany Medical Center. He is reported to be in stable condition.
Police interviewed several witnesses in the area at the time with none cooperating, but felony assault charges will be forthcoming.
The incident is under investigation and police ask anyone with information about it to call the detective division at 518-828-3388.
State Police and the Columbia County Sheriff’s Office assisted Hudson Police in the investigation.
