CARMEL – A man with multiple felony convictions has been arrested by the Putnam County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Enforcement Unit (NEU) after attempting to sell drugs to an undercover officer.  Brandon Gattling, 29, of Waterbury, Connecticut was arrested on June 14.

Putnam County Sheriff Kevin McConville says his NEU investigators arrested Gattling after the suspect had arranged to deliver heroin to an undercover officer in the Town of Southeast.  At the time of his arrest, Gattling was in possession of heroin and fentanyl pre-packaged for sale.

The suspect was charged with felony criminal possession of a controlled substance and felony criminal sale of a controlled substance.  At his arraignment, Southeast Town Justice Folchetti remanded Gattling to the Putnam County Jail without bail due to his “multiple previous felony convictions,” according to Sheriff’s Captain Michael Grossi.
