Early voting for primaries begins on Saturday

MID-HUDSON- Early voting for primary elections begins this Saturday, June 17th, 10 days before primary election day, Tuesday, June 27th.

There are several primary elections being held for local offices around the region, and Mid-Hudson News will be spotlighting some of the matchups over the next several weeks.

To find out if there is a primary election where you live and early voting locations and times, visit your county’s board of elections website:

Orange County Board of Elections
Dutchess County Board of Elections
Ulster County Board of Elections
Sullivan County Board of Elections
Putnam County Board of Elections
Rockland County Board of Elections
Westchester County Board of Elections

New York primary elections restrict who my vote in a primary election to persons who are registered members of that political party.
