Drug task force seizes coke and cash

POUGHKEEPSIE – The Dutchess County Drug Task Force has arrested a 50-year-old Town of Poughkeepsie man on felony charges of criminal possession of a controlled substance.

Det. Sgt. Adam Harris said the arrest of Gregory Jackson was the result of a warrant search of his home on June 9.

Approximately six ounces of cocaine and a significant amount of cash were seized by task force agents at the residence.

The task force has been actively investigating the sale of cocaine, which is often mixed with fentanyl, in the Town of Poughkeepsie and other areas of Dutchess County.
