MONTGOMERY – The State Police Montgomery Bureau of Criminal Investigation and Troop F Computer Crimes Unit have arrested a Town of Hamptonburgh man on child pornography charges.
On May 5, police executed a search warrant at the home of Jeffrey Rubin, 56, and found several electronic devices containing numerous images of child pornography.
On June 8, he was arrested and charged with promoting a sexual performance of a child under 17 and possession of obscene sexual performance by a child, both as felonies.
He was arraigned and remanded to the Orange County Jail in lieu of $1,000 cash bail or $5,000 bond pending a future court appearance.
